Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Digitizes Public Display Period for Zoning Plans

According to an announcement by the Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, the public display periods for zoning plans can now be monitored through a map-based digital application. Developed using internal resources under a commitment to transparent governance, the system allows residents to examine the plans in detail alongside their exact locations.

Accessible through the municipality’s website, the application allows filtering by district, neighbourhood, and plan type. Plans currently undergoing their public display period are automatically listed, with start and end dates alongside descriptive information published in real time using updated data.

Replacing traditional notice boards and manual website monitoring, the new system can be accessed by visiting the "Information Services" tab at https://planaski.balikesir.bel.tr/. Residents will now have easy access to zoning plans for their respective areas.
